Colorado liquor licenses, with what the state checked
Type a bar, restaurant or store name. 17,096 licenses from the Liquor Enforcement Division files, read on October 1, 2026.
Buying a bar or signing a lease? A dated license report ($19) — or a whole list checked.
What this is
The Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division publishes five separate files: active licenses, licenses approved in the last three months, licenses expired or surrendered, renewals waiting at the Division, and the checks where an underage buyer tried to purchase alcohol. This site joins them: one record per license, with everything the state published about it.
Who uses it
- Owners and managers — your own record: expiration, renewal received, checks.
- Distributors and landlords — is this license active, and until when?
- Buyers of a business — the license and its check history before you sign.
What it is not
Not the Department of Revenue, and not the license. A compliance check is shown only when its address and name match one license; many checks are not matched and are not shown. Local licensing authorities (cities and counties) keep their own records.
